It’s Tanarah.
This is a newsletter about being a student who makes art, which mostly means: deadlines I didn’t see coming, critiques that rearrange my brain chemistry, the weird hours art actually gets made in, and whatever’s happening in my head while I do it. Sometimes that’s a sketch I’m proud of. Sometimes it’s a meltdown over a grade. Sometimes it’s a 500-word essay about the sound in my ears that never turns off. I don’t really sort these into separate folders — it’s all just what’s going on.
If you’re also making things while your life is happening at the same time, you’ll probably feel at home here.
No posting schedule, no five-step productivity system, no claims of having anything figured out. Just art, school, and the occasional unfiltered thought, sent whenever there’s one worth sending.
Thanks for being here.
